The Anti Christ Gospel - Treasure

For where your treasure is, it is a sure sign of God’s blessing.

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. You’ve got to be smarter than that.  God has blessed you with all that wealth, so be sure it is invested wisely in a strong and diversified portfolio.  You can also store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.   These treasures in heaven might be good deeds, people you’ve witnessed to, charitable donations.  For where your treasure is, it is a sure sign of God’s blessing.

The eye is the lamp of the body. If you see things clearly, you will be full of light.  And if you don’t you will be full of darkness.  Of course God’s blessings are his affirmation that you are full of light.

No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money but make no mistake, God will show his favor upon you by giving you material wealth.

The Anti Christ Gospel - Fasting

Be sure to inspire others

“When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.  But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face,  so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”

Well,  this was written for the hypocrites, but we all know you’re not a hypocrite so let’s forget the “doing it in secret” thing. If you fast, and I’m not talking about intermittent fasting, which is not really fasting. I mean, let’s face it no one really fasts anymore. Can you imagine going more than 24 hours without food? Of course not. But if you DO, you want to be sure to inspire others since it’s a lost practice.  Do an Instagram live about it or a ZOOM class so we can all learn from you. We will secretly admire you and will be inspired by your spirituality.

The Anti Christ Gospel - Forgiveness

God is unpredictable.

“If you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”

…. because as you know, God will mirror your behavior and  stoop to your level.  “When they go low, we go high,” is Michelle Obama.  Not God.  God is unpredictable.  I mean sometimes he is infinite in love and mercy, and other times not.  Don’t listen to anyone who tells you this verse is about the release that occurs inside yourself.  Don’t’ try to read this as “when you release other people, then you are yourself released.”  That would be consistent with how love and mercy work and none of us need the Bible to be consistent here.

The Anti-Christ Gospel - Giving to the Needy

You do want to give God the glory after all don’t you?

“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.” … Except on Social Media.  Then you should announce your righteous beliefs regularly so that everyone knows how spiritual and Christian you are.   You might want to throw in a little condemnation of those who don’t share your beliefs while you’re at it.  “And when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets and do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret.  Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” …  Of course this doesn’t apply on your tax returns, you can certainly announce your charitable giving there. And if you can use your giving to inspire others, then by all means you should. You don’t want to hide your light under a bushel. And be sure to proclaim to others that the reason you have prospered in this life is because you have tithed and put your trust in god and that god has rewarded you for your generosity.  You do want to give God the glory after all don’t you?
